What's the widest tyres to fit under stock guards when lowered a spline it two?
I'm currently running 245/60r 14 with fibre guards (and a spacer) but want to get it back to looking stockish and low.

On the rear of my convertable i run a 225/50/16 on a 7" rim under the standard guard.
Do you get much rubbing ?

This is the widest I have seen, really deep dish
but it's on a Baja with IRS

i,ve got cup wheels 16x9 with 245/50/16 on standard 1500 beetle guards
I've got 225/60x15 on narrow axle with type 3 brakes and radar wheels. Not much clearance each side, but the fit with no rubbing.
Any way of squeezing in a 15x10 on the rear..? Yes I know it's big..it's meant to be
