Hi folks, just woundering if anyone could help.
I was driving my beetle yesterday through eltham, saw a friend's kombi going the other way so we flashed our high beams at each other, mine worked no
issue. Later that night driving home I noticed my headlights sucked. Got home and found that only my parkers worked. I checked all the fuses, wires
to the fusebox and theglobesi. I also took the relay out to test, I couodnt make sence of it though. It's a 1972 super beetle stock headlght setup.
Can anyone help?
Maybe chuck a new set of globes in, i've had a stuff globe before and it looked totally fine.
probally in the switch
you have to start at the front n work back to solve the problems
Do your high beams still work when you pull on the dimmer switch?
If yes then problem is in either the headlight switch or the ignition switch.
check the earth points at the loom entry under the bonnet
if it dont make sense its usualy an earth problem
if its ok the switch earth will most like to be the hassle
Both lights are out. The don't come on when I flick the dimmer of anyth
