reconditioning engine- SW Sydney area

Hi guys, new to the forum!
Proud owner of a 60' bug that im looking to get back on the road asap!
Pulled the engine out last night and dismantled it down to the case. Im already beyond knowing what im doing..
im hoping to get it running as/near new.. and on a budget...
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Who to use to dismantle and assemble?
Where to get parts from?
i got told 'Ultra Torque Heads' is a good place.

Any info would be greatly apprieciated.

thats where i am, there used to be RAW but they closed shop there is a VW specialist on Blaxland road, but when I get my new motor i will be going to Custom Bugs and buses in Penrith

bit off topic, but what happened to RAW? i thought they were doing quite well? seemed like good work from what i'd seen.

Hi guys im from Picton and have a nice little '70 Bug just registered after 2 years out of rego... i bought it in the Oaks... anyway..just wandering whereabouts this VW specialist is on Blaxland Road?
