This is one of my favourite pictures. We needed a microbus because that is #5 growing in there.
This has been a 100% DIY at-home resto. My first. Now looking for a cheap beetle (flat windscreen, disc brakes)

Number 5 child!
A 79 Microbus!
There is some fun being had here!
You have lucky children have a bus lifestyle. Our two boys have a lot of fun looking for Beetles and busses when we are out and about.
We have a 75 Microbus and I have a hard time convincing my other half that we can have up to 6 children so we can fill the bus. The discussion always
ends in silence.
Up to 7 kids, Helbus. Just better start looking for the elusive 9th seat now.
I have to stop at 6 - the import microbuses don't have the seat backs to take the 9th seat.
Puting it up for sale now. Emma really doesn't like to drive it, and since it is meant to be her daily drive, there's no point in keeping it. We will have to sell the bus to fund something else that she does prefer. Note: the kombi was Emma's idea in the first place...
OK then, she might be happier with a newer VW Microbus, such as a T4 Caravelle. Much more modern, easy to drive, quiet, comfortable, roomy etc etc -
and still a Volkswagen.
This one for example is on CarsGuide for sale at the moment. Auto, 2.5-litre 5 cylinder, for just $5450. There are plenty of others too.

Phil - yes, considering those.
Modulus - you just a very naughty boy, aren't you! lol
Doesn't like the bus? Wow, I know many girls who would give money and even their virginity to own one of them. But then, after five kids she can call
the rules. Power of pussy, power of motherhood.
