Hey Everyone.
Today we added another Kombi to our collection, making the total come to 3 Kombi's and a beetle. It is a 75 bay window if i recall correctly. It has little rust spots here and there but overall is straight, but for $500 all we wanted was the 2.0L in the back .lol.

Looking at the pictures, What is the go with that box looking thing at the top of the engine. It is some type of air intake box, looks like something is missing.I havnt had much to do with 2.0L actually this is the first i have seen in real.So i am not sure how they all work.
Anyway ,check it out tell me what you think.
Cheers:blush:

thats actually the lid of the air cleaner which is on the bottom with type4 engines
the top part which is missing has the element and the ducting across to each carb

judging by the paspalum seed heads in the air cleaner i'd be pulling that engine down before you try running,
probably done some offroad camping like most of them have either that or rats been in there

Thanks.Yeah Joel that is what we thought about the air cleaner ducting. Can we do away with that ducting and just have separate cleaners on each carb?
