ive just brought a 73 windowed van with a 1600 twin port with a 1800 box. ive got it on full rego from the club rego it was on . the fuel guage needs some work but in the mean time what size is the tank and how many klms should i roughtly get out of a tank ..

also does any body know of a cheap place in sydney to get some paint blown onto it

I think they have a 50L tank and you should get about 350-400 km if in good tune and driven sedately. If you try and keep up with modern cars probably less.

ok thanks at least i can use that as a guage till i find out why the guage doesnt work even with a new sender unit

went for the first cruise with the kombi club yesterday to the northern beaches had a iginition problem but its sorted thanks to a great club member . i made a unique set of speaker boxes today for the stereo but i think it needs a little more then that . my vintage speed exhaust goes on tomorrow and then the towbar will be put on and then wired . all i have to do then is to sort the bent rear bumper and bracket.

ok so got to valla and drove around without to much drama even with towing the trailer , one major problem is my indicators are not working at all now and ive tried all but replacing the switch ... we have got our mind set on colour and combinations plus wheels and well im starting to think a repower sooner then 2014 for the next long trip to valla ..

ok so ive made a table in the rear and painted the bumpers with a black hammertone metallic also put new rear lights in and replaced the tail light lenses also . the motor has been serviced checked and tuned by volksmuller and its running so sweet .

done away with the table idea never liked all i came up with so made this for now instead gives a bit more storage and another seat to sit and relax

even re painted the wheels white today thinking of running the baby moon caps on them . and starting the the lowered beam in the next week or two

Go the baby moons they look awesome with chrome dress rims.

yeah thats what im thinking also but really need to think about paint more seriously soon
