Any tips on how to install the front bump stops on a late Type 3. It looks to be near impossible.
They just twist on or off, nothing difficult
Nah. These are new and there is no way I can just twist them on. I think I am going to have to ream them out.
try grease n a rubber mallet
Talcom powder.
Hi
Any lube you use will make them fall off easier. Talcum powder is my suggestion as well, try leaving them out in the sun for a while to make them
softer.
Steve
your not strong enough, just push them on, easy.
Margaret Thatcher on a cold day...
hot water to soften
and G cramp it on...slow and steady with nice smellin powder
Use the old trick, washing up liquid, just dries out and you can wash the excess off.
