vwo60 - May 26th, 2013 at 09:21 PM

I have just driven my razor ghia from Tassie to the Sunshine Coast, i have had it up on the hoist and the upper and lower ball joint boots have died, the car has been in storage for a few years, does anybody know if these are available as all the ball joints are new only the boots have perished.
Thanks
Shayne

Bought new boots for my notch at an auto parts shop think it was bursons autoparts(in nsw not sure if they are in qld). Took a while to find someone that stocked the right size ones.

Correct boots for the car are available from Bursons, they are Road safe brand, part number RB 35 k, 3 year warranty.

REPCO carry their own brand of balljoint and tie rod end boots
not expensive either...

although ones with a 3 year warranty would be great..

You don;t want to replacing them very often..

I have replaced all mine..

they all ripped apart when they were turned..
the small part grabbed onto the shaft, didn't move..??

road safe carry boots as well as type 3 ball joints. Road safe are great quality. I swear by them.
