Best way to drop the front end of my 73 squareback is it splines (from where) or weld in adjuster only want to drop a bit but nothing to time consuming
Cheers

Do you have to? Raising the rear slightly can lower the front. It is common for the rear to sag with time... Can be good to get the rear at the "right" height before touching the front.
You don't weld adjuster in for type 3, that is for beetles which cannot be lowered other ways.
Drop by one spline (bottom bar), rather than 2 or 3 if you must... ie. beware of it being so low that the upper arms rest on the rubber bump stops.

Remember they are like the rear of any ac vw, the inner and outer splines are different so you can set the suspension height exactly anywhere you want, 5mm higher, 22mm lower, whatever you need. But Brutus is onto it with the sagging rear too.

yeah the rear always sag on type 3, eventually anyway.

I would run is close to stock height, slightly lower maybe 15mm at the most before you loose caster at the front and degrade the handling.
