I would love to fill the slot in my notch dash the way it's suppose to be with one of these but that's way to expensive.

Dreaming for some Vlad and a pure gold find for others! For anyone who knows early Type 3s they will know that these switches are now almost zero to
find, especially for near NOS units. In most cases the washer rubbers will be useless but the rest of this one looks the goods.
Just like you do and tell us here that everything has to be "just right" with anything you purchase for your ride so just maybe there are some who
do like their early Type 3 to have the right things including a switch like this one on Fleabay. I purcased a NOS one back around 1996 from Volksbahn
for a sum of $250 and then spent near 4 years to find the right car to screw to it. I would think that for a similar quality switch the asking price
of around 400 bucks isn't too bad if it's needed enough to finish a project.
They do look nice when they fill that dash slot! Just my slant on things and of course I haven't a clue on who the fellow is who has this one for
sale.

A couple back here. 2005 and it's only done a few thousand klicks since then. Is it really worth keeping this old junk??

I seen a few of the switches for sale on the samba over the time I been on, A lot cheaper than that.
Couple of people who restore these switches there too.
So over 400 bucks is a bit steep for a part you can still find from time to time imo.

Good to see the seller has sold his item to "a best offer". Another early Type 3 with the correct switch assembly. :-)

Agree Dallas.
Depends who is buying, have had several in varying conditions and all disappeared fairly quickly and not far off that figure.. think I still have one
left here somewhere...

Some times you just have to pay the price for something so rare
