Set of Chrome turn signal bases for 73 Type 3

Hey Dubbers, am on the look out for a nice pair of Chrome turn signal bases for late models (70-73); Part #'s 311 953 051D (Left side) & 311 953 052D (Right side), Hella brand

Am finding preparing old die cast ones hard to prepare and get chromed as die cast is different than normal metal chrome and some of the plastic wiring fittings are proving impossible to get out of base.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys I ended up sourcing a pair from US and am having them re-chromed.
