How many type 34 ghias were sold in Australia?

Hey guys, I'm just curious on the number of type 34 karmann ghias sold in Australia. I copied this for the clubvw website and I thought there would have been more sold here!

"The imported Type 34 Karmann Ghia was only available to Australians from 1965 to 1968, and then only by special order. Its chassis prefix begins with ‘34’, and the third digit is the year. Less than 20 were sold here." From the club Vee dub website.

Just curious

My Mate has 3 in various states of survival one registered, one complete but rusty and one used to have a Porsche flat 6 engine in it begging for a custom makeover!
