At last a forum for the ugly step child. What are we going to kick it off with?
I'll start...hands up who has a type 3 or KG.
I have a '69 notch which I drive every day. Compliments the TAT turbo beetle.
I know this has been done before but it will be easy to search on now.

here's my 66 squareback. i have finally learnt how to count to 3 as this is my first type 3 i picked it up today. I have been looking for a good one
for ages and finally come across one. cant wait to start driving it.
wow that looks schweet silverbullet, was it bought from Vic?
PC
And now from this collection we can see that there are right hand drive bodies and left hand bodies. Some (most!) of us have to live with the poorer
vision of left hand drive bodies on rainy days!

Very ratty 71 Fasty. Basically all complete, very solid underneath.
Unloved on the inside and outside. Currently unreg and off the road but soon to be cruisin' around.
I love the colour of yours empikg. I wish mine was that colour or the light tan.
baybuscamperkid the only reason mine does not have patches of colour is that it's a dailey driver and I don't have a friggen clue how to do bodywork
I remember that when I was looking there was another the same year and
colour, it had those stick on white walls and new carpet but was $2500. This one was originally $1800 but had carb/ignition trouble. I nearly passed
it up but the owner rang and said I could have it for $800. All I had to do to get it running fairly well was to replace one idle solenoid. It's a
1700 from the paperwork but I still think its not running to it's best potential. Once I get the left carb back to stock float and jetting I can at
least eliminate them.
Nice cars everyone, great to see them
Here's my '63 'N' model.
