Has anyone seen the movie? I have, twice! It's a good bit of work.
Now, the KG driven by the couple the killer attacked at the lake had odd tail-lights. They were squared off at the ends & rectangular instead of
pointy tops & bottoms. Was this bastardisation or are talking the high-nostril pre-'59 models here?
U'll notice a karman badge is missing on the fr guard too!
I won't reveal the ending, but one of the suspects drove a KG too! Early 60's. Significant?
Worth a look then if there a bit of KG action.
Definitely seeing the movie now. Had seen other Zodiac movies, but will definitely see the "Hollywood" one now.
In real life the Zodiac killer actually wrote the dates of his killings on the door of a Karman Ghia for police to see at the scene...don't know if
that is in the movie...haven't seen it yet.
Judy
Yes Judy!!
That scene is shown.
That's how I noticed the missing Karman badge!
Thoroughly recommend it. It's a "thinking person's" hollywood movie. They don't make that many. They prefer inane sequels. :repuke
Good performance fr the 3 main male roles, esp Rob Downey Jnr.
Wear absorbent underwear, the 70's fashions will make u wet urself!!
Watch out for the ref to the Dirty Harry movie- the murders actually inspired it, the killer in that movie calls himself "Scorpio"! I like that
movie too esp when Harry is reprimanded for shooting some guy intending to rape a woman
Indignant mayor:"how the hell did you establish intention to rape?"
Harry: "When a naked man is chasing a woman up a blind alley with a butcher's knife & a hard-on, I figure he ain't collecting for the Red Cross!"
Boom-Tish!
