Shed find : 69 Squareback The Perfect Day

Just thought Id share close to perfect VW weekend . 2:00 pm Sat. Spotted Squareback in shed near cane field while on hunt with fellow dubba Big Dave for a Fasty that had been spotted in paddock. 2:05 pm Located owner for closer look, removed junk, tin ,mattresses, shopping trolley etc. Found it was 69 Square auto made in Germany, very little rust . 2:10pm Made hand shake agreement with owner. 12:30am Sun Couldnt sleep 9:00am Sun arrived to pick up. 11:00 am Left with car in tow 12:05pm home 1:00pm Wash car 4:30 Sun new battery in. 6:00pm Sun kicked over. Doesnt get much better! Still lots to be done. Big thanks to Dave Picks this week Cheers Matt

Matt sounds like a great find. You two have been a big help with my Fasty so great to hear some Karma coming back your way.

Looking forward to pics.

BTW 5 issues with the Fasty at inspection - all minor hoping to be rego'ed by the end of the week.

By the way, the 71 Square in the last photo is being parted out. Driveable until motor sold. Some good panels, IRS and gearbox discs brakes ect.
(rack is not included).
