The ones you are after are early model (the ones shown in your pic are on a 1964-5) indicator lenses, not late. The amber ones will be much easier to get than clear. There were some on fleabay recently and were a reasonable price. Maybe available at Vintage or some other outlet.

PS. The ones on fleabay are complete ones but look rather faded. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/VW-TYPE-3-SQUAREBACK-FASTBACK-FRONT-INDICTORS_W0QQcmdZ...

What model are you fitting them to? Have you already got the bodies? I have two spare amber lenses in good condition here you can have.

Where've you gone :?::?::?::?: Do you still want the early front indicator lenses!

Remm340912 is a close friend of mine. Pm me with the cost and I will see if I can contact him. Being in Tassie the electricity is intermittent as they have just discovered it

Not sure yet as to whether they are the right ones as he hasn't responded. He asks for the late model but the ones in the pic link are earlier Notch ones.

Better get him to start pedalling the generator quicker and get back on line!
