RHD type 3 Rubber mats

Ok here is the deal. I have been looking for a RHD rubber mat for my notch and have had no luck.

I came across Eric's ad on samba for RHD oval mats. I have contacted him and he said if there is interest and 40 pre-payment he can have these made.


Set would run 300 dollars US a set. I know its a long shot but would like to see how many Right hand drive owners out there would want a set of factory style RHD rubber mats?

So lets see how many prepaid commitments we can round up. this would be a great asset to the Type 3 community making these rubber mats available for correct restorations

What year type 3's?
Most of mine (late ones) had carpet type mats more so than just rubber.

It would be for early Type 3. 66 and later had carpet anything before that had rubber mats like beetles

And they were shocking things back then!! Couldn't wait to replace the rust encouraging things with carpet!! I don't think I'd have any in my car even if they payed me to have them there.:no:
