we missed you all had a good meet up on sunshine coast today and we were the only type 3! hopefully you will join us next time looking for about 6 weeks time.... :cool:

Sorry dude for not going, good to see a bit of interest in cruising up on the coast, but it was still too far south for me when I had a heap of stuff to do in the shed and lucky as I ended up doing a rescue mission to Rainbow Beach. Philsmanx busted his baja.

Hey Gavin, if you were the one there with the beetle that would look good in my drive! yes you were the only one:).... have you seen the photo's? look on Kombi club (lots) and Volksculture (one) get back to me if you can't find them

i went to this one in the kombi - maybe the next one in the rat beetle
good to see beetles and type 3/ notch and even karhman ghia
want to see more next time !

Cool- I'm back in Australia on the 24th, and fingers crossed will have my car ready for the Run To The Sun on the Gold Coast on Sunday 29th. I was thinking about getting a group together to head down from The Sunny Coast early the morning of - maybe meet at the Ettamogah Pub? I'm heading from Bli Bli.
What y'all think?

Hey guys we are going down but thinking of chickening out of driving the notch due to hot weather and annoying children!! lol we are leaving early and meeting Ian without his splitty due to refurbishment at Caboolture servo at 7.15 for a coffee etc then head down I will check in later to see if anyone wants to meet, Syreeta :-)
