Just for the record:

Google VW Heritage.uk

2 brand new Hella originals with all the correct lettering $165australian delivered in 4 (FOUR) days.

I took advantage of the lousy UKpound sterling exchange rate!

Considering Mini sealed beams were $125 a pair & I would have to frig around mounting the buckets & I would have contaminated the KG with items produced by the Prince of Darkness, I'm quite OK with that.

The glass you were looking for. What numbers on it?

geodon - February 7th, 2010 at 08:02 AM

Obviously Hella.
Old ones were 7005
New ones 7001

Old ones I'll keep for spares. They are not too different. The cracked one stayed in 1 piece so I might dribble a bead of araldite along the crack on both sides & see how it looks.

I also put in halogen globes for the tungsten ones & now with new clean lenses I've got real lights! Yes 12V, of course.
