It's from the local Toowoomba newspaper "The Chronicle" and dated Friday, August 28,1964.

Sorry Dave, I will give you a ring soon, but Wednesday night was a wash out, one of the biggest storms I've seen. I'm sorta Klub Vw, I'm connected through Alec; known him for 11 years. Can't promise too much comittment, but I'll see what I can do.

That would be great. I have 2 type 3s, a 1970 auto fastback with 47000 geniune miles from new, and a 1970 notch that I bought from Alec about 3 years ago. I would love to rack your brains with a few problems I'm having with the auto. It will only go in reverse even when in drive???
