Any recommendations for mechanics around Bondi, just got our first 1966 squareback and need to get it up to scratch. (rear shocks, windscreen, general tune and check for RWC) also any hints n tips would be awesome. So excited!!!!!!!!!!
Why not start learning now! Get a reasonable manual for reference... there's a couple on fleabay now which would suit that year.
The windscreen is reasonably easy to put in. What is the problem with yours? Rear shocks easy to replace.. 1 capscrew, 1 nut each side. Not much
use paying for things you can do yourself. Just make sure you haven't bought rust that will need repairing before you get it past the RWC!

PS. There's one there for 2 bucks but Ned wants 20 bucke postage. I got one of these for about 16 bucks plus 3 bucks postage!
