I'm looking for information about the 1972 Type 3 Australian Stripe Kit. I really like the look of this Stripe Kit and would like to put one on my
1973 Fastback. Any photos of a brochure, catalog or Type 3 with the Stripe Kit on a car, would be appreciated.
Anyone reproducing this Stripe Kit?...Would be interested in purchasing.
you like mine?
I really like this Stripe, any photos of your car ?
I have a beautiful Fastback that needs these Stripes.
Any Information would be appreciated.
As far as i know there where available as an option for little over 6 months from late-ish 71 to early 72. That is all I know.
I can get some pics and measurements, someone might like to reproduce them. I got a mate from high school who owns his own business doing car art and
pinstripes.
Called Pinstripe Dave. I might try to get on to him as get him to make a batch of them.
lol I rote in my previous post " you like mine?"
I was suppose to type "you mean like mine?" Just noticed it then, looks so funny now

Hi everyone, Im new to this board but was sent this link by a person on another board (TheSamba) I am currently searching for a 60"s model VW bug to
do a full restore on and while Im gathering up parts I thought I would put my cutter to work making some decals to help get a few extra dollars for my
own VW build/restore. I had someone ask me to make these and thought I would post them here too
If any one is interested just hit me up with a email.
Thanks,
Mike
looking good so far, though it needs tweaking here and there.
Yeah the 3 I tweeked a bit more and the top inner stripe cut out I pulled back to end the same as the bottom more like your picture above. There 145
inches and $50.00 a set.
Im going to try to map the one for the lower door next
whats the UV rating on the Vinyl...? what colours are available?
what program did you use?
I have an empi c-stripe kit for a type 3 if anyone is interested in it.
type3disease I would have to check the UV rating Im sure its good, I get the vinyl with the highest rating for auto use since originally I got the
cutter to do my truck and trailer (lol) pretty freakin expensive to do one trailer and a truck but I have done allot of vehicles around here
since I have no overhead except the cost of the vinyl and tape.
vlad01 : I use a Roland color camm 600 or maybe its a 6000 (the one that prints and cuts) and I use flexisign 7.5 and 8.1
I try not to print too much as it does get expensive to get ink.
Oh also guys I dont do this for a living, just to get toys sometimes like now Im itching to get a VW bug and every little bit helps. My main biz is
steel work, heres my website if anyone is interested http://www.dirtysouthchoppers.com so mainly Im a steel worker / welder
nothing special about me no matter what you hear my Mom say (haha)
