My first few jobs are:

Then i will get the pain off and make give it primex? then painting job as good as i can

that is a big job but at the moment one of my concern is to find some rubber for the doors, front windshield ./ back and i have the chrome bits american look? i have find an aussie shop but we are talking more than 300$ I did find IPS on the net anyone been using them for the doors and so...

If you have tips or anything you want to share i might be more than happy to listen to you guuys

Vlad gotta good set off ips mate check em out....cal look rubbers arent too expensive....checkout Classic vee dub supplies in sydney they have a good website also vintage vee dub in sydney...iam in the middle of doing the same thing myself...main door and window rubbers are easier to get...signal rubbers and rear license plate rubber fuel filler cap etc etc are a bit harder

vlad01 - November 8th, 2010 at 06:00 PM

Not really. isp sell all the rubbers on the type 3. whether they are in stock it another question.

So far i got every single rubber, seal and felt channel to completely re do the type 3 doors. I also got those number plate lens and body seals.

They even have VW made snub rubbers for the front beam, yep those little ones too. All brand new. :D

vlad01 - November 9th, 2010 at 06:52 AM

is it just me, or is their site down for every one?

petitesouris - November 9th, 2010 at 08:42 AM

Yes their site is down i did founfd them on the internet on facebook but no reply yet. i have contacted a company in Oz for my rubbers mainly to start with front and rear windshields and I did not want the cal look...I am very difficuklt I love the chrome bit!!

So the quote for front and rear was more than 350$ did not talk about the door as it was getting very expensive. One thing that company in the us that has all the things we can dream off but will not sell overseas JB VW...I have one of my supplier in the states as my hubby has a bike business and think i might use them to receive my order and then ship to Oz...that might be of an interest for some of you...not ready yet as i do not have the money yet...Thanks for your reply...I am going to do a list of things it will be a long one but with what needs to be done and maybe you can help me to let me know if I shall do it myself or pay somebody!
