not sure if I'll get to it this week but I have a late type 3 bumper at work and my 71 kg has the later square bumpers so I'll match them up and see if they are the same on night this week.

can check on the weekend for you... I can tell you the ends are definitely shaped different but from initial looks they do look very similar.

they are similar and can fit, but no they are different.

I already went down this route wondering if stainless ghia later bumper would fit type 3, but it ain't so.

but does fit other way around. the rear bumpers are identical.

try this mob if you want quality bumpers. http://www.groupharrington.com/

i had a type 3 front bar on 1 of my ghias years ago, the pointy ends on the bar were ground down a bit to give clearance to the guards otherwise they were going to hit or be too close

Thanks you all,
looks like they will fit if I play around with it, all though i think I'd rather an original
If there's any out there, let me know, cheers

the curvature of the front bar is different too, the type 3 bar is flatter, while the ghia is more curved.

so they type 3 bar fit with little mods, but ghia bar on type 3 should fit but looks sh!t house as the gap from apron to bar is too big and the
support tube and skirt don't match with a big gap.
