Just wondering what this model Type 3 would be worth to buy in restored condition?
It has original interior and in immaculate condition.
I am looking at buying this.

Would depend on what you mean by "restored".

The price can only be determined by how badly the buyer wants it and how badly the seller does/doesn't want it.

Type 3's range from; a case of beer - $15,000 and vary in condition throughout that price range.

IMO they are becoming rarer so are an investment.
Realistically - insurance can be an indicator. Shannons (at last check) are happy to insure a '68 type3 for $6000 without inspection. The market value listed (last time I checked) was around $3500.

Dash looks in mint condition so that car may have been well cared for, garaged most of it's life or "restored". Restored can often mean it needed restoration and may have flaws.

I rang the guy and he want's $4000. The car is immaculate no rust, looks like new.
I will try and talk him down?????? I reckon i should be able to get my money back if i decide to re-sell later down the track.

seems a very reasonable price check all the usual rot spots to see how well it was fixed up or tarted for sale good luck on tracking it down keep us posted on your progress

Rust free doesnt mean it's rust free, Im restoring one ATM and the amount of rust under the guards is quite severe
Hence why I'm restoring it. You won't know unless you pull it apart and really have a look

Looks good. Even if there is a little rust price looks spot on.
