What is involved with converted a manual type 3 to auto. I have a beetle semi-auto (needs rebuild) and late kombi full auto (not sure on condition) i can use as donors.

Does the kombi auto fit straight in? Or do i have to modify the frame horms to fit it?

I'm also guessing the drive shafts are different. But T1 and T3 are the same right? Can i just swap the bug CVs onto the kombi auto and fit it into a type 3?

Any help would be great.
