As you may know September 2011 marks the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Type 34 at the Frankfurt motor show. To celebrate 50 years of the Type 34 I am organising a bit of a get together.

The event is in Penola, which is approximately half way between Melbourne and Adelaide, and has been chosen to hopefully entice owners from both Cities. The dates are the 10th and 11th which are a Saturday and Sunday.

We will be cruising up from Adelaide / Melbourne on Saturday, staying Saturday night and returning on the Sunday. There is a meal on the Saturday night at one of the local restaurants / wineries, and a local cruise to take in the sights and maybe a few cellar doors on the Sunday morning.

The chosen accommodation is the Alexander Cameron motel, but you are also welcome to stay elsewhere. Rooms can be booked direct via their website. http://www.alexandercameronmotel.com.au. 

All are welcome to attend, but be aware that accommodation and dinner numbers are limited.
