your lights are screwed to the fender that would be an earth. i don't believe
having no seal would be the problem.a test light at the socket? lights up?
faulty new bulbs ? :spin::spin:

Earth fault.

OK easiest way is to run a jumper wire from the side of the globe to a good clean earth spot under the bonnet (the headlight earth point would do),if the light works then try the base plate,if it works again it is the earth point.If this is the case you can cheat and run another wire from the base plate to your earth point used.

Never really looked behind T3 indicators... thought they'd have an earth wire (brown) running from the back of the reflector area to the bodywork, like on tail light assy's ???

I'll bet there's a little tab on them somewhere for an earth wire to attach...

When you are testing for power, where are you taking the earth from for the test light?
