what is this drug induced creation?

Yes it would definitely take drugs to come up with VK Commodore bumpers on a type 3.
wow I am impressed you pick that out. I never would of thought it was off a VK and we have owned one in the past.
Shows how awesome they were
It was those 3 ridges below the waist line that gave it away, that is token VK-VL Commodore.
I only picked VK cos of the raised section between the headlights, VLs are flat there.
Gotta love 1980s streamline designing....

I think you might be missing a few brain cells from too many drugs to give an answer like that
I would rather suicide than drive that thing. 2 good cars ruined
Awww I'm not gunna share muh drugz wif u then....if it was purple with gay stripes down the side ..... it would look like yours with no roof!!!!
Lose the bumpers and it would look fine

i,m with Sandy ,loose the crap bumpers ,fit some og style ones , some decent wheels instead of those that look like they belong on a camira and its a summer cruiser
agreed
Notches definitely make the best looking softops.
I remember back in the early 90s a company on the goldcoast had a fleet of softtop bugs all painted yellow for hire, I used to see them everywhere.
They even had a few type 3 softops but they were fastys and looked pretty wrong but the worst I've seen is sqaureback softops.
That is just nasty.
id roll it as is, i dont mind really ugly customs.......
Burn it!!

Yeah thats a real shame yeah sure ok for a white fasty or on some multi colored hack job, but a very nice rare original colour like that in good condition? kind of a waste.
