I think i'm missing something but not sure what.
i bought a new oval interior light for the 60ghia but can't see how it is supposed to clip into the metal bracket behind the hoodliner.
Is there another part that goes into the metal bracket for the light to clip into or do I have the wrong light, although i've been told that the light is correct.

Any help is appreciated

I probably will have the same problem. Have you looked on the samba, It may be another avenue for help.

Yes i did check the samba but no real luck, just need to get a look at one.

early and late interior lights just clipped into the hole in the roof

there is a small bit that earths out when its pushed right in so the interior light can be turned on with the door closed..

so, they are just pushed into place... into the hole...
