1970 type 3 bump rubber mountings

has anyone else had the large bump rubber mounting on the front end of a 1970 Type 3 (fasty) rust away, leaving very little to hold the rubber in
place and if so how did you go about rectifying it?

dont need it to slam it, most cut them off
