Timing Lights

I need to buy a timing light. Any recomendations?

Battery or 12v?

LED or Xenon tube?

I just want something reliable so would prefer LED. Anyone had experience with these?

It's pointless.

BTW I have the leds for the blinkers connected. they are BRIGHT! I now have 3 warning lights and 2 buzzers. I won't forget to cancell the blinkers.

Ultra reliable Dave, I have used one with a probe in place of 1 crocodile clip since I started my apprenticeship in 1966 & it has many other uses too.

Just wired it how I said. Just ran a wire to the relay/indicator switch. When the flasher is off the light turns on (earths through the blinker globes) It is BRIGHT!
