You may have seen the low rider push bike I built some time ago, well after a few beers tonight we fired up the home made gas turbine. Had next door
scratching their heads wondering why there was a jet aircraft over the fence.
I'm going to video it on Saturday and I'll post here for anyone that may be interested. Man it looks good at night with that jet flame out the arse
end.

poor quality but you need to turn your sound up BIG.
Here we're running it on LPG, had to put the cylinder in a bucket of water as it was freezing the LPG and dropping fuel pressure (a bonus would be to
have a bigger bucket and have your beer in there to cool off!)
The blower is to start the turbine, there's a 12Vdc ignition system running a coil and spark plug (Jacar Jacobs ladder kit). Once the turbine is up
to speed it's self sustaining and no ignition is required. Next step is to hook up the Avtur afterburner (this will increase thrust by
......lot's:P), once that's all sorted I'll be converting over to jetfuel (avtur) as the primary fuel. Then mount it back on the cruiser and go for
a burn....I mean cruise.

Pete I was a bit disappointed that it was not on the bike!! It sounded mean and I guess I can understand the hesitation of having that so close to
your seat area without testing it out first :thumb
How have you tested handlig the bike at speed???
