Anyone in Sydney can do me a favour and check and engine for me? I am in Melbourne so buying it sight unseen. If anyone can spare an hr or so to go & start it and just have a general look would be much appreciated. Its in Liverpool I believe

That would be really great. He's telling me that the compression was 155 in all excpet #3 which was 152. I just want someone to have a quick look to see if there is anything obvious (oil pouring out or something, smoke everywhere, rough idling) and start it up

Well I wen't there on Friday morning but the thing was sold!!!!!...that was a deal considering it came with a gearbox and new 40mm webers. A guy walked in , had a look at it and bought it on the spot.....need to be quick!!!! sorry bout that.

Yeah, I rang him yesterday to tell him someone will check it out for me and to arrange shipping then he told me someone came with the money and bought it. Damn, I miss out agian. The hunt still on for an engine
