Camouflage paint on a Dual Cab
StenGuns - April 9th, 2007 at 06:53 PM

I have a mate that is going to take on a resto of a 74 Dual Cab..
He has an idea to finish in camouflage colours with a khaki canopy..
I'm sure I've seen one on the net somewhere but can't find it now.. Also tried doing a busselecta photoshop but not skilled enough..

Has anyone seen any pictures of this effect?

PS: The stance will be Baja.. Big lift kit with spoked white wheels and duellers etc,
Probably with the 1uz lexus conversion I've always wanted to do..

Hi Stenguns,

I painted Simons Bay a few years ago in camo. He did alot of research and not a random pattern as it might appear. We sourced the company that supplies the army and so the paint was exact, and 'anti radar' too!hehe

I haven't got the paint codes sorry but the paint is from Protec. Give them a call and they will no doubt be able to help.

That is it!!!

Thats going to be alot of work! Its either alot of masking or some fine air-brush. Looks awesome though!

One thing to bear in mind is registration. If you get a defect notice it wont pass(in WA anyway)**camo is not a color!hehe
