Gibbo - January 27th, 2009 at 01:59 PM

Hey guys, To stop me scanning my own copy in so I can print pages easily for use in the garage, has anyone already done the job, or has anyone got a PDF copy of the manual?

Thanks
Gib

volumex - January 29th, 2009 at 08:59 PM

It's a great book! I use it in preference to the real manuals.
How do I get hold of the PDF?

warb - January 29th, 2009 at 09:01 PM

if you already own the book, im happy to get a copy of the PDF to you..

shaihulud - February 1st, 2009 at 02:24 PM

Oh! Yes! AutoBug. It's the first idiots guide ever printed on any subject. I never leave town without my copy. It's saved me a couple of times.

I especially like the fact that compleat is spelled the old way.

smcleod - February 1st, 2009 at 08:24 PM

I'd appreciate a copy also. How do i prove to you that I already own the book?

Thanks,
Steve

warb!!

can you perhaps sent me a copy of the pdf. i have a coppy of original book but i donīt want to destroy it in the garage.
can you sent me a pm.

kombivw - March 24th, 2009 at 05:50 AM

I picked a copy up for 5 bucks at Blacktown markets recently. Its a bit scuffed and some pages are well used in garage before. But have found it really usefull. Have also found that the oil change section is not same as mine (There is no oil plug in centre underneath on 71) and of course may find other things different the more I use it. Very interested Warb how you gonna work out who has an original copy for you to send them a PDF ?

DUB64 - March 24th, 2009 at 07:05 AM

Would love a PDF copy to scribble and draw on.

I read mine often in the hope that something will sink in

Not all members here are experts and any bit of help would be awesome.

To verify that someone owns the book, maybe you could PM them a question that they could only answer from the book. Something like what is the last word on page? or describe how the book says to do this?

This may help.

Yogie

Dont worry about copyrights, the bible is even copyrighted even though it spend like thousands of years without it. most of the time it's not even the original invented or artist who owns the copyrights. but if you like it, and its good then buy an original to support it

type3lover - March 28th, 2009 at 07:06 PM

Most of us OWN the original of this book by the sound of it!
Just after a convenient "digital" copy of it is all.
What is happening with this by the way?

eraser - March 28th, 2009 at 11:21 PM

if you want it PM me the title of chapter XII and i will hook you up

Transparu - March 29th, 2009 at 07:40 PM

I have a print copy for years, but would love to have an electronic version too. . . I have the Bentley in both versions and it sure is handy to have the electronic version, even if it is only to print out a couple of pages to have on a (very) work bench.

I'd appreciate knowing how I can get the book.

Thanks

dave

I would also like an electronic copy to keep my original alive. I've been looking for this for a long time and it now seems that I had to keep looking untill I reached the other side of the planet (I'm from Belgium).

Please let me know if it's still the same question that has to be answered in PM.

Thanks,
Niels
