hi All
I am considering an Auto from Aaron Roberts and have sent him a pm for the price and availability. However I have not heard back as yet.

Can anyone give me a ball park figure on how much they are?

It will be behind a Subaru WRX motor in a 62 beetle

I don't know how often he comes on here.
He rebuilt the gearbox in our MK3 golf.
We are very happy with it.

I was speaking to him today- yes he is really snowed under with work. Be patient with him. A ball park figure for a rebuilt auto from him is around $2,500- but you get a heavily modified auto to handle the power increase and the diff section fully overhauled as well as a rebuilt converter. But you will need to tell him exactly what you are planning so he can give you options.He has done a 010 as well as a 003 auto for me recently and you won't get anybody who knows more about them than Aarron.Your project sounds like some serious work ahead of you. Keen to keep track of it.

Have you bought an adaptor yet? I am also doing a Suby/Auto trans project at the moment-haven't done anything yet about an adaptor.Was going to try John Sherman in QLD.

I don't need one as I bought a WRX as a donor vehicle and have decided that I am going with the 5 speed with Subaru gears conversion. I just wanted to consider the auto as an option but did not have any idea on how much it would cost.
