Thanks Seagull:thumb
Called the Sydney office and they have asked if the outo was a 010 or a 003. I think that this depends on the pan bolt configeration. I will have to get under tonight with the torch and have a look.
Cheers

From what I can find out-the 003 went into Type3's and the 010 went into Kombi's.I have one of each, and the differences I can see is the 010 has a cast iron diff housing and the dip stick tube goes into the side of the sump, unlike the 003 which goes into the trans body. The 010 has a blanking plug in the housing for a dip stick tube in the same place as the 003.The pans look the same size and shape.

There is a few mods to the 003 box you can do for small cost

The diff section you can fit two seals where the nose of the coverter fits , this stops oil running out of the converter .
The clutch packs ( steel spacers ) one of these can be ground down if you do the math one more fiber pack can be fitted .This way if your running a Subaru ect or towing you can help the box out a little bit .I have done a few of these and it works great .
