36 hp inlet manifold question

am putting up a post re the part nr mine is
113 129 701 A vw
just wanna be sure it fits a 36 mtr
maybe the A means vw australia but no roos on it...thanx all

seems to be tha same acc to my tape measure

Its a 40 hp manifold. I have two 36 hp manifolds one on the car and one on the wall, they have part no, 111 129 701 E. The alloy swage (joins the heat riser and manifold pipes) on a 40 hp is about 10 inch's long. On a 36 its about 6 inch's long.

Sorry man Im not rich and I want to keep this car forever, all the spares I have im stashin for a rainy day. Its getting incresingly hard to find 36 Hp stuff now. If I find another Ill let you know.

guy in Bundy just sold a 54 v orig and all bits for a good packet so hang on and it will be worth it.

ain't 36hp manifolds mounted flat on cyd head and the 40hp's are slightly angled?
