Saw this on Ebay I have read the long thread on electronic ignition and was wondering where this would fity in ,anyone running something like this?

the ones to be ordered off ben from the prev post should work the same but will be much cheaper.

Not as I understand it. The ones Ben had were points replacement only. The eBay ones replace points and boost ignition output.
I think you'll find it's the same thing: the "boosts performance" comes from the fact the electronic pickup doesn't need the
points gap, so it will produce a better "dwell angle" in effect, allowing it to produce the best spark possible with a stock-style coil at
higher revs. The electronics in these units is mass-produced in asia and is the same in most of these units.

Oops, just had a look and it does include a high-energy box, but you could still do just as well with a cheaper "ignitor" and a local
high-energy ignition box - if you're really stuck, I can get a local kit and assemble it for cost.
