sweet idea, as for how possible it is, or how difficult... now what would be really cool is if you cut the seams and lowered the body over the chassis like the old hotrods (called channelling i think). u must remember rear wheels are near engine and front wheels are beneath seat, making it rather more difficult then in other cars, maybe channelling is the go?

Is this for the splitty or have you sold it.

Is that first pic, an example of 'tubbing' what is it ??!?!? Also does anyone in OZ do that cool suspension switches thang that the yanks do, where with the flick of a switch you can lower your suspension ?!?!? Who does it and what is the $$$$

Unity-28 - August 18th, 2003 at 12:24 PM

There are two ways of doing "the switch" thing! Airbags, and Hydrolics! There are a few ppl doing the airbags and a few doing Hydros! Fabricate this In melbourne do bags as well as Burnin Kustoms in Brisy! Both very good work, But It aint cheap! http://www.fabricatethis.com  and http://www.burnincustoms.com.au

Cheers N!

Unity-28 - August 18th, 2003 at 04:52 PM

With Burnin, make sure its for bags at the front and not Air Cylinders! About 4 grand is pretty right for a basic set up!
