rolling diameter

Hi All,
Does anyone know the correct rolling diameter for tyres that will keep the speedo accurate on a 75 bug.It has got 14'' hotwire rims with 195/75 tyres which are not all that common when it comes time for replacement.
Looking at the manual it is supposed to have 6.00 x 15 4 PR,what does this equate to in todays world?

Hmm... pretty sure the original tyres (either 155 or 165) came out to something like 637mm OD.

Hopefully CT (fullnoise) will jump in - he's pretty much the guru on all things tyres !!!

165/80 kumho powerstar or michelins were the token bug tyres up till recently

i havent run stock rims for ages so i dunno what people are running these days as there pretty hard to come by 8 years ago when i tried looking

Daves right stock diameter is 645mm
u wont get near that with 14" tires
a mates Sbug has hotwires with 205/65 on which is close but it rubs like a mofo
