Nice photos. The Amphicar would be handy to have on that river cruiser, although I do woner how easy it would be to 'unload' ?

I drove one years ago - on the road, then down a boat ramp into the water. A real buzz, and the looks of amazement on the people fishing nearby was something to see !

There was a handle on each door to pull the door tight against the seal, and a lever to engage the propellors...that's all, and it was ready to be a boat.

They were made in Germany, but for some reason had a Pommy Triumph Herald engine.
