Hi
Long time no updates.
I retired last August so I'm getting stuck back into my Oval. I've been accepted to take the car to Summernats 2025 so the pressure is on.
I've been chipping away at the car still lots to do. Its booked in for interior in late October.
Motor is now reconditioned 1916. I'm fitting EFI and a SC12 supercharger to it using a custom plenum and Mexican EFI manifolds

Think I read on the Samba the Mexi manifolds are restrictive? No idea whether correct or not but maybe something to check?

They are about as restrictive as stock carby manifold ends. The centre section has a very small throttle body but I'm not using that, a custom plenum
will go in place of it.
It's just a cruiser that will make some cool noises

I'm running a deadhead fuel system or non return so ran a -6 line today
I'm also using LS truck coils. Needed some longer leads as I'm running the coils behind the fan housing. I tried everywhere to buy them so Amazon
came to the rescue. I have 4 spare leads as I use LS coils on my other Beetle but they were too short. These ones will be easier fit VW spark plug
