OUR 57 Beetle

Kyllie and I have finally finished our 57 beetle.
here is a pic of it just after it was painted, it is now registered and driving around.
I will put up a pic of the finished product as soon as I get one.
It has been nine and a half months in the making and we are realy glad to be driving it finaly.

The colour is the same green that the new beetles come in, but i had a lot more gold pearl put in.

Bet the neighbours were rapped with that. Been there before. Amazing what you can turn a fugly wreck into with time. and money of course!!.
That must be very very early big window model for a 57. Collectors car.:thumb:thumb nice.

It was built in november 1957 in germany.I still have the german compliance plate.:)
I didn't realise what it was until after it was finished.
