Thought it was time to post some updated pics of a beetle I bought from forum member SVW-054 (Greg ). She became known as RAC for reasons that will become aparant when you see the number plates.

I have had RAC for about six months give or take. When I purchased her from Greg he had started the ball rolling with the update to the beam. Narrowed 2inches with adjusters,pop out windows,replacement 40 hp engine ,newbrakes and a general tidy up.

Since then RAC has been through a few more changes !!!!
- Rebuilt motor 1680 with twin 40mm Kads (By the DeBiasi`s)
- New 51amp alt
- New 009
- S/Steel GT exhaust
- 12v conversion
- replaced bumpers
- New running boards
- interior detail inc carpet
- BRM`s
- Few other replacements ie cables,tail lights,headlights,leads etc etc.
Overall I am really happy with RAC`s next phase. She drives extremely well and flies along at a great pace.

Unfortunatley we will be selling RAC in about three weeks time as we have just purchased a Type 3. When the time comes I will post it on AVD first. I just wanted to show the next phase of RAC`s development !!!
