Looks great. Did you build it yourself or buy it that way? Also, what seats are those? And 1 last question, I see you have no grill below the rear window and no vents in your deck lid, how does the the air supply get to your carbs?

There's only a handfull of those 70s Euro 1200 bugs like that here in Aus, I've only ever seen one in the flesh, if you do bring it over its certainly going to stand out

I bought it 70% done, and finished it off, the seats are Corbeau carrera's had to have some special lower seat frames made by corbeau to get them to fit properly to the orginal seat mountings. The air flow still goes down the orginal intake underneath the cut out and I also have extra cooling and cold pipes fitted under the car into the engine bay.

Great looking car, I'd love to get one of those models with the BJ and swing axle...

I've seen a lot of Uk 1200's look a little bit iffy, this is really nice!

It's the late decklid and hood with early bumpers that makes them look funny.

Should be arriving in the next 3-4 weeks :D, any idea of a Beetle friendly place to get it registered, and what to be careful of and what to look out for before I take it ?
