Hi I have a lead on a beetle in Double Bay, I have seen video and a couple of photos but the owner seems to be playing it down as though it looks a lot nicer in photos than in person. Also the article talks about a lot of rust being cut out and a lot of kms that gets vague responses.

I just want an impartial person with knowledge of the usual rust places to check, normal engine noises etc to make sure its worth making an offer on before I lug a trailer 1000km to find a dud.

Happy to pay for your trouble, carton beer, 1/18 splitty diecast, $50 etc.

If not I can always fly down or get a pro.
