A mate of mine who worked alongside me at Mid North Coast Motors in the late 1960's has a complete, running twin port engine that he took out of his 1500 beetle to fit a hot motor that he built, he kept this motor for a spare but never needed it.
He sold the beetle and during the time that he had it he ran the engine on the floor regularly to keep it good.
He is looking to sell the motor along with some other bits and pieces that had.
