Glovebox latch

Anyone know where I can get a glovebox latch (plastic) for a 75 bug?

few places OS still sell them
i got a locking one a few years back

Yes , You can get them out of some places in the states but in Australia i dont think you can get them anymore but you might be able to get one in Australia at Vintage or volksbahn they are the only places i have seen then advertised but not very often. You can make one by getting a good non locking one and customizing it for a MK1 golf lock.

those places will get them in

golf 1 and 2 are same as Lbug but shorter
they fit as is if you just shorten the catch
ive done that trick b4

but T25s use the same one as Lbugs and maybe T30s never checked
still plenty of them around wrcking yards

It will be easyer for you to get a glove box door from '73 L Bug that has the twist and get a twist one. From Dylan
